Psychotherapy & Art Therapy

I offer psychotherapy, art therapy, & immigration evaluation support in English and in Spanish in a safe, supportive space. My services are trauma-informed, culturally aware, and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re navigating trauma, identity questions, immigration stress, or seeking personal growth, you don’t have to do it alone.

Individual Psychotherapy & Art Therapy

Talk therapy provides a space to explore thoughts, feelings, identity, needs, and behaviors. Together, we’ll work on coping strategies, boundary-setting, self-awareness, and healing at a pace that feels safe for you. Includes healing through eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) informed therapy, somatic therapies, and art therapy.

Art therapy uses creative expression to process emotions, reduce stress, and explore your inner world — no art experience needed. It’s especially helpful when words alone aren’t enough.

Small Group Psychotherapy & Art Therapy

In a supportive group setting, you can connect with others through guided creative activities and shared reflection. This helps reduce isolation, build community, and process emotions with others who understand your experience. Group sessions will be announced as they become available.

If you’ve been asked by your attorney to provide mental health documentation for your immigration case — such as VAWA, asylum, U‑Visa, T‑Visa, or extreme hardship petitions — I offer compassionate, trauma‑informed immigration evaluation support in both English and Español designed to help explain your emotional and psychological experiences in a professional and credible way.

To ensure accurate and trauma-informed evaluation, I exclusively work with clients who are actively working with an immigration attorney. This ensures that clients are provided the correct type of evaluation for their specific circumstances.

  • An immigration evaluation is a mental health assessment and written report completed by a licensed clinician. It provides a clear, honest description of how past experiences — including trauma, abuse, violence, or prolonged stress related to immigration — have affected your emotional well‑being. These evaluations are often used as part of legal documentation submitted to USCIS or immigration courts to support your case.

    • We begin with one or more interviews where you can share your story at your own pace in a safe, supportive environment.

    • I’ll gather relevant background, explore how your experience has affected your well‑being, and work with your attorney as needed.

    • After the interviews and review, I’ll prepare a written evaluation report that reflects your experience and psychological assessment — tailored to the requirements of your specific immigration pathway.

👉 This is not therapy itself — it’s an assessment for your immigration process, while still being trauma‑informed and respectful of your lived experience.

    • Helps immigration officials understand the emotional and psychological impact of your experiences.

    • Completed in English or Español, and supportive for bilingual clients.

    • Reports are prepared with clarity, cultural awareness, and respect so your story is presented honestly and professionally.

    • I work collaboratively with your attorney to help ensure your evaluation meets legal standards.

  • The evaluation process can feel emotional or intense — you’ll be asked about your personal history, experiences, and how they’ve impacted you. Many clients find that reflecting on their story in a safe space can also provide clarity and insight for their emotional well‑being beyond the legal purpose.

  • Evaluations can take up to 4 weeks to complete, though this timeline can vary depending on scheduling needs, the complexity of the case, and other factors.

  • If you’re seeking immigration evaluation support or have questions, I’d be honored to assist. You can contact me directly to set up a consultation or learn more about how this process can fit into your immigration journey.
